As part of Finance Engineering (FinEx) Procurement team , as a Software Engineer II , you will be personally involved in leading the design, configuring the business requirements and features that enable our mission critical business partners. You will work closely with peers across teams to help build flexible and high-performing SAP MM Solutions that enable next generation of business services.

This person is accountable for solution design working with Product Owners, Advanced Business Applicarion Programmers, businesses partners, product groups, and other FinEx procurement teams to ensure that ERP solutions are delivered, aligned to the technology roadmaps which support the business roadmaps and future business scenarios.

The Microsoft implementation of SAP is a large-scale enterprise solution featuring SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 (FI-CO, SD, SCM, HCM, GTS). The individual hired for this position will implement solutions for procurement service line using Ariba & SAP technology.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in gathering requirements, guide discussions by representing SAP standard functionality that exists and how they can be leveraged.

  • Generate business requirement documentation.

  • Deliver required functionality according to Microsoft standards and align with portfolio roadmaps.

  • Working hands-on with your team through design and implementation, demonstrating engineering practices and coding.

  • Detail design of the end-to-end solution and utilize reference architecture in project design work.

  • Enhance the project capabilities by continuous improvements and innovation, develop partnership with businesses and other groups, and ensure both proficiency in design and delivery.

  • Support domain architects in the definition of solution and technology roadmaps and industry standards.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 2+ years’ technical engineering experience with Hands-on experience on implementing/configuring SAP Procurement solution in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA system.

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience as a SAP Materials Management Functional Analyst or Solution Architect with an understanding of Source to Pay business processes.

  • 1+ year (s) of experience in SAP ERP (Material Master, Procurement, Inventory Management & Accounts Payable).

  • 1+ year (s) of experience in SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing, & Business Network), integration experience (SAP Materials management with FICO domain, SAP Ariba with ECC/ S/4 HANA).

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • Professional Training and Certification: SAP MM

  • Implemented MM with S/4 HANA.

  • Experience partnering with stakeholders at various levels.

  • Exposure to AI/ML/GPT.

  • Experience collaborating with groups in various regions.

Software Engineering IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 – $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 – $208,800 per year.
