We need a Procurement/Acquisitions Analyst to support the U.S. Army’s Ground Vehicle Support Center (GVSC) located in Warren, MI. GVSC investigates, matures, and assists in the transition of technological advancements to military ground vehicles and support systems.

This position will require onsite work in Warren, MI.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Support the development of acquisition plans and strategies to improve program performance.

  • Prepare and review draft procurement-related documents.

  • Assist customer with acquisition requirements for assigned programs.

  • Review and recommend solutions to resolve contractually related problems to meet program goals.

  • Conduct resource management and fiscal oversight of DoD programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

  • Experience working with agencies to maintain procurement guidelines and policies.

  • Competent with contract negotiation to assure compliance and resolve contractually related problems.

  • Previous experience leading assigned acquisition programs within timeline and budget allocation.

  • Experience analyzing proposals to ensure conformance with acquisition requirements.

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance.

Physical Requirements

  • Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
