Functional Analyst Senior

HOW A FUNCTIONAL ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Responsible for planning, tracking, analyzing, and evaluating select aspects of government related POMs. Assists with related reporting requirements and performance measurements. The Applicant will support strategic planning, resource planning and administration, and budget tracking.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivilent work experience preferred

● Required Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in process/quality assurance support

● Required Technical Skills:

  • General understanding of governmental budgeting processes, including Government Acquisition processes and procedures.

  • Ability to research and gather information; verify and analyze data.

  • Utilize excel worksheets structuring

  • Knowledgeable of dependencies in SharePoint helpful

  • Ability to configure data for freestanding database tools

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external organizations.

  • Service Now ITIL management system familiarity

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for tracking software licenses to ensure the organization is properly managing the number and types of licenses.

  • Assists with producing Systems Branch asset management and financial processes and policies

  • Responsible for ensuring hardware and software annual maintenance renewals are tracked and submitted for funding.

  • General knowledge of Army regulations and operating procedures of financial, procurement, and supply programs to track progress of purchases and related warranties.

  • Inform and assist the Systems section Chief with administrative functions necessary for supported contracts.

  • Support section strategy development, contract planning, documentation development, contract administration, and requirement/proposal reviews.

  • Assist with the development and review of documentation associated with various contract administration efforts, including POMs, Taskers, and other tracking tools

  • Provide technical reviews of hardware to determine compliance with DOD and Organization requirements.

  • Maintain and document list of Hardware and Software Approved Products.

  • Knowledge of management and organizational principles including details on structure and function of the organization to conduct analysis and evaluation of plans and priorities.

  • Ability to analyze and understand applicable statistical, budgetary, and economic techniques to ensure effective interrelationships between budget and mission program objectives.

  • Skill in applying fact-findings and presentation techniques, to utilizing automated office tools to maintain and track data records.

  • Utilize local web portals to track and organize programs.

  • Assist in monitor orders status, conducts analysis to identify aged or problem documents and assist in clearing them.

  • Proficient in standard computer applications as necessary to produce clear and concise analyses, plans, reports, presentations, memos, and messages

● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI

  • Flexibly accepting assignments and work independently while seeking guidance as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to support all assigned tasks.

  • Assist with the development and review of policy administration documentation as requested.

  • Assist the Government in generating reports analyzing and assessing each department’s performance achievements against the standards.

  • Create reports and data visualizations to make recommendations to leadership.

  • Monitor project schedule compliance levels, identify gaps, and potential issues.

  • Open issues tracking and follow up with issue owners.

  • Gather and analyze information to develop regular status reports.

The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 – $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
