The Blue Origin GenAI & Smart Factory org is driving manufacturing automation, RPA, machine learning, and implementation of useful tools and software to drive efficiency throughout the company.
We are constantly innovating in the ways we are automating and accelerating the delivery of products using state of the art software and hardware technologies. We use the latest AWS technologies, big data approaches, and ML/AI to build distributed, highly available systems to achieve our goals.

What you’ll do?
Provide strong technical leadership, with focus on build systems, and continuous testing
Invent new tools that enable more work force multiplication and autonomous agent execution.
Work closely with Blue Origin teams to learn their development workflows, and challenges while independently driving solutions that are specific to business specific needs and requirements
Contribute to the design, implementation, and deployment of successful internet-scale systems and services in support of our manufacturing, design and flight operations and the businesses they support.
Create the definition of secure, scalable, and low latency services and efficient physical processes.
Work with multifunctional teams delivering on demanding projects.
Functionally decompose sophisticated problems into simple, straightforward solutions.
Understand system interdependencies and limitations.
Share knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system and architecture.
Qualifications:
15+ years of professional experience in software engineering, AI development, and creating commercial grade.
7 years of recent active and credible AI/ML research in industry, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
2+ years in Large Language Model (LLM)implementation and usage,
Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment & continuous monitoring.
Expertise writing software in languages like Python, and Javascript
Expertise with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, API development
Experience with scaling and performance of large systems
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Obsession with quality and customer experience attention to detail coupled with ability to think abstractly
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
