Position Summary:

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Administrative Generalist to join our team!

This position does not provide a telework option. Candidate must be willing to work on-site in California, MD.

The Admin Functional Support 2 will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative and business management support with office management responsibilities. Duties will include route and distribute incoming mail and packages, greet guests, prepare, and track purchase requests, prepare presentations for management, liaison for onboarding of new employees, track office/facility expenses, process invoices against purchase orders, and manage and procure office supplies/materials.

The Admin Functional Support 2 will assist Program Managers and Project Management Analysts in the successful execution of various projects. Duties may include project planning, forecasting, budgeting, EACs, internal/external reporting, material procurement, surveillance of subcontract execution, and invoice/payment tracking.

What you will do:

Specific responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Communicate effectively, demonstrate good customer service skills, work independently and in a team environment,

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills,

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task,

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite,

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required.

  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit.

  • Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources.

  • Compiles, reviews and analyzes data.

  • Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.

  • May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • Functional knowledge of DoD Contracts

  • Proficient in MS Excel

  • Excellent Customer Service

Physical Requirements

  • Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
